From James Muirhead.:
Good morning folks,
Thank you for the informative show and your efforts to apply pressure to various
companies, e.g. Amazon and their Kindles.
Although I muse a Macbook Pro and iPhone 5, I lack a simple braille notetaker.
I am still using a very fragile Braille lite as I still find this the fastest way
to input and retrieve specific information, e.g. details during a phone call or notes
on lectures.
I am on the mailing list for the Braille +. Again this seems to be a notetaker
and a great deal more. I suspect that I would not use a great deal of the “more”.
I have been unable to elicit any response from Brian MacDonald and the B2G notetaker
I am hoping that it will be more directed to elegant ways of notetaking and finding
information within files. I am very untidy with my filing and make frequent use
of the “global find” in the braille lite, as I know I may have written about a certain
subject, but cannot remember in which file I wrote it!
Your efforts are much appreciated, though not always the humour. I particularly
like Ricky when she uses her English accent, which she does very well.

Hi guys,
I thought you’d be interested in something for your next podcast. You can have fun testing it out.
For all you smart phone and tablet users, especially I-Devices, I thought you’d get a kick out of a cool update to the Google Search app. Some of you may be familiar with Apple’s Siri voice app. Google is going to give Siri a Siri-ous run for its money! I’ve had fun playing with this app and comparing the two.

hi, went to Best buy and had a chance to try out the ipad mini. Ithink it is a great little ipad and just love it myself. I have the old Iphone3gs which I do not use as a phone even though I boughtit in 2009 when it came out and dis continue the cell service as I really hate the iphone as a phone, but love the other parts of it. So I myself don’t need a Retina display so this is no big deal to me. But my wife a total seeing person has the ipad1 and loves it and when she seen the Ipad mini she fell in love with the size. Now the only thing she was disapointed in with it was it did not have a retina display. So she said she was going to wait her self to get it when the next one came out and was sure it would have a retina display and possible a 8 mega pix cammer . I compaired it to the Ipod touch and it won out over it just on the account of you can get it with cell data and built in GPS. It is a little to big to do a one hand operation unless you have giant hands! But they do make acase for it that has ahandle on the back of it making it so you can one hand it. So don’t know if going to wait for the next one and me and my wife get one or go ahead and get this one for me then the next genration for her. I myself found typing on it much easier than the ipad , but here again I am use to a smaller screen . My wife said it was not a big deal but would take just a little adjustment as she was use to the keyboard on the ipad. So JMT on this ipad mini!
